POSHTEAL'S STORY
Surakan’s Life as a POSHTEAL
I was born in a typical Thai-Chinese family, yet the special part of my life is to be raised by a stylish kind-hearted superwoman aka mom.
My mom has always been seen as one of the best dressed. Sky is the limit for her creativity. She took a tailor class when she was teenager and afterwards created her own wedding dress. Although we lived with a budget when I was little, my mom always found a way or two to style herself and her family nicely.

One of my favorite childhood activities was to accompany mom to fabrics and ornaments shops. I always had a good time exploring every corner of the shops and walking back to mom to show some fabrics with interesting colors, textures, and prints, as well as ornaments with interesting materials and designs. And I was delightful whenever mom agreed. Fashion magazines played a big part of my childhood leisure reading, and when we went to tailor places, I always loved to help mom picking interesting designs from those. Men tailor shops were not the exception as mom also took care of dad’s outfits for any occasion.
One of my mom’s outstanding talents is to pick very unique color combinations and designs for everything, ranging from her own clothes, decorated gift baskets for special occasions, to furnitures for dining room, to name a few. Undoubtedly, I was the one who always participated.
Besides, I also grew up seeing that my mom always got special treats without asking, won any business negotiations she involved, and gained a super special discount everywhere even in high-end shopping venues without any discount signs!
My mom is the greatest teacher and role model towards creativity, arts, styles, manners, self-development, and beyond. One of the greatest things my mom taught me is not the knowledge itself, but the creative skills to find my own way to learn new things, to identify problems, and to find possible solutions. She taught me that everything is possible only if I wish to do.
This part of her grows in me, and on top of that, when I realized this Personal Image career exists in the world I know immediately this is my IKIGAI. What would matter more when I could help people learning to love themselves, to learn how far they could develop and to witness who capable they really are.

RESOURCES
Why personal image is important?
-
Have you ever found yourself ending up losing an easy bargain with some random fruit seller?
-
Have you ever been underestimated your knowledge in a business meeting about what you actually expertise of?
-
Have you ever been checking if you are feel okay even though you just had a good 8-hour sleep last night?
Basically, image matters. When you are seen, you are simply judged subconsciously within 3-7 seconds and that’s so-called “the first impression”. By being judged, your character, ability, mindset, and so on are depicted and expected. No matter it complies with the reality or not.
